Private teams within the Authors’ Club offer members a collaborative space to develop specific stories or projects collectively. This guide outlines the criteria, process, and rules for forming a team.
Eligibility Requirements
- Individual Member: Must be a Premier-level subscriber to create a team.
- Team Size: Minimum of 2 members and maximum of 25 members.
- Membership: All team members must be paid members of the Authors’ Club to participate.
Genre & Topic Restrictions
- Genre: Teams must be formed under a single genre or topic, for example:
- Fiction, Romance
- Non-fiction, (Specific Topic)
- Topic Focus: Each team should have a clear, specific topic or theme that aligns with the chosen genre.
Team Formation Process
- Designate a Team Lead:
The team lead is responsible for inviting members and managing the team. Only the team lead can send invitations and manage team settings. - Create the Team:
- The team lead logs into their account and navigates to the Team Formation section.
- Selects “Create a New Private Team.”
- Assigns a Team Name (optional but recommended for branding and recognition).
- Set Genre & Topic:
- Selects the appropriate genre.
- Defines or inputs the project topic or focus.
- Invite Members:
- The team lead invites other paid members via email or username.
- Invited members must accept the invitation to join.
- Confirm & Launch:
- Once the team has the minimum number of members (2), the team lead confirms the creation.
- The team becomes active, and members can collaborate within the dedicated space.
Rules & Requirements
